In this lesson we will cover the benefits of a plant-based diet for health. Topics to be covered in depth include: Why a WFPB Diet Is Best, Plants For Heart Health, For Brain Health, For Bone Health, For Gut Health, For Diabetes Prevention & Management, For Weight Loss.
LESSON 3 - Disadvantages Of Animal-Based Foods
In this lesson we will take a closer look at the nutrients from animal sources and their impact on our health. Topics we will take a closer look at are: Animal Fats, Animal Proteins, Animal Sugars, Hormones & Antibiotics.
LESSON 4 - How To Get Started
Getting started is the hardest part of making any lasting change. In this lesson we will help you to take a look at where you are starting and how to set small achievable goals to make progress with changing your diet. Here's what we will cover: Taking inventory of your current eating habits, teaching simple swaps, starting with One Meal a day, ideas for cooking for one, how to maximize your time by batch cooking and tips for travel.

About Dr. Beth
Dr. Beth began her plant-based journey in January 2023. It all started when she picked up the book Finding Ultra by Rich Roll, looking for some inspiration as she began training for a Half Ironman, after taking a 12 year pause from the sport of triathlon. She initially planned for a 30-day reset at the beginning of the year to help jumpstart her journey. Within 2 weeks she started to notice dramatic changes in her energy, recovery, sleep, and gut health. That's when she started doing her research. After several books, documentaries, and hour of podcasts she became convinced this was the best option for her health and those of her clients. Dr. Beth went on to receive her Plant-Based Nutrition Certification from Cornell and writes and speaks regularly on the benefits of a WFPB diet for optimal aging.
