So go ahead... click the “Yes! I Want The Free GUIDE” button, enter your name and your email address to receive the Free GUIDE by email. But maybe you feel like you’ve read a lot of free information on the internet and really just want to talk to someone about your problem. Is that you? If so, then we offer a Free Assessment with a Physical Therapist. This way you can tell a professional your story, get your questions answered and hear about which of our services would best meet your needs. Does that sound like something you would like to do? Here’s the most important thing… Most people get stuck trying to make a decision about what to do next. They go days, weeks, months (even years!) without taking action. The one thing we can guarantee is that by doing nothing, your dizziness won’t get better. So the next important thing is to take action. |

"The therapists at HouseFit have a thorough knowledge of the challenges facing someone with Parkinson’s Disease who, like me, has freezing and gait issues which not only make it difficult to start and continue walking even a few feet but also makes falling an unfortunate fact of life.
They assessed my living situation and made suggestions which made it easier for me to move around the house and resume doing some activities, like barbecuing, that I had stopped doing because I was afraid of falling. With every visit, they had me do things that increased my strength and balance. I still freeze, but I am more independent and less reliant on my spouse to help me get in and out of my chair and move around the house. Falling remains a risk, but I now expect to go weeks rather than days between falls.
The benefit of in-home therapy for me has been learning techniques for dealing with my issues in the environment in which I live every day. They makes it easy because they is always on time, never is in a hurry or rushed, and promptly submits my claims to Medicare. They are simply the best!"

My husband Rom has Parkinson's Disease and had Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) surgery done a couple of months ago. For the past three weeks, the therapists have been working hard with my husband to reduce his freezing and improve his walking. They gave him tools to use to help him. We have found several techniques that work well for him - saying "big step" and counting his steps. The therapists are considerate and patient and work well with my husband. We have already seen improvements and hope to see more"
