ExerMoves® Group Fitness Program
Our ExerMoves Group Fitness Program provides group classes using a medical fitness model and is an excellent way to maintain and improve your fitness with age. All of our classes are taught by our Physical Therapy Team and can modify the routines to meet the needs of all fitness levels. We are experts in aging and challenge our clients to maximize their balance with each class. We have three levels of in-gym classes to offer in addition to Level 4 - Private Training.

Class Memberships
Level 1 - Foundations
Housefit class is a great generalized workout that will touch on all five components of fitness: balance, strength, endurance, posture, and flexibility
Balance is a perfect class for anyone who has noticed they aren’t as steady on their feel as they used to be and wants to work on balance.
Level 3 - Elite
Small Group Training is a high intensity workout that targets cardio, strength, and endurance. You will have access to all of our equipment for a well rounded workout. The group is limited to 5 people which gives you the experience of working out with a physical therapist at a fraction of the cost.

Level 2 - Masters
Strong class will make your entire body stronger. This class uses equipment to work on strength, agility, and power to improve your body’s ability to live your life with ease. Calm class incorporates strategies and exercises from yoga, Pilates, and meditation to improve your flexibility, posture, joint mobility, and help you relieve stress. Pwr! This class uses Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery (or PWR!) exercises. These moves are designed with the intention to slow disease progression in people with Parkinson's Disease, the same moves can benefit all adults as we age.
Level 4 - Private Training
Private Training is our one-on-one training program where you will work with a Physical Therapist on your fitness goals.

Reactive Step Training
A new form of balance training is emerging to help older adults stay steady on their feet. It’s called Reactive Step Training and it’s based on the principle of intentionally pushing someone off balance so they can practice catching themselves. Our ActiveStep Balance Trainer replicates real world "slips" and "trips" in a controlled environment. With practice, your reflexes get stronger and your balance improves. Users can reduce their fall risk by 50% after using this cutting edge technology!

Workshop Series
We have two workshop series available; Floor Fitness and Safe Landing. These workshops rotate and we offer them on a limited time basis. Here is some more information on what each workshop focuses on and entails.
Floor Fitness: The Floor Fitness Workshop Series is designed to help people gain the strength, flexibility, and confidence they need to get on and off the floor with ease. You will work closely with a physical therapist in a group setting to get comfortable in any position on the floor, learn personalized modifications and strategies to get up and down from the ground, and practice exercises specific to your limitations that will maximize your strength and independence.
This workshop is perfect for people who:
Safe Landing: This workshop is designed to help you minimize the impact falls. The Safe Landing Workshop Series was designed to retrain your body how to fall safely, without getting injured. In this workshop, you will work closely with a physical therapist in a group setting. You will learn strategies and exercises to help your body prepare for a fall. You will practice controlled falling in multiple directions - forward, backward and sideways. Participants will start practicing in slow motion from a low level close to the ground and gradually work their way up to faster speeds and full height fall by the end of the series. Each participant will be provided with a tumbling mat for increased comfort.
These workshop series are great opportunities to focus on improving everyday skills in a safe environment.
